An Invisible PhD - Royal College of Art

Invitation from Dr. Harriet Harriss (RIBA, PFHEA) School of Architecture- RCA London

The goal of this lecture and workshop was to explore and discuss aspects, concerns and possibilities of the proposed “Invisible Phd“ with students. We will envision, reflect, hold paradoxical scenarios, variations and adaptations about your current position as student and future as professional.

Considering that the construction of space is framed by (and frames) systems of governance, institutional models, living, schooling etc, we will consider the relational effects of your practice and its wider impact. This workshop in the pluralist spirit considers differences, unexpected and inspiring common ground to adapt and project future models of learning and practicing.
